Governor Maggie Hassan released the following statement on Donald Trump's disgusting attacks on Khizr and Ghazala Khan, the parents of Capt. Humayun Khan who was killed while serving in Iraq:
"The Khan family are true American patriots who deserve our profound gratitude and honor, and it is absolutely horrifying that Donald Trump would launch personal attacks against parents whose son was killed defending our freedoms. Kelly Ayotte's continued support for Trump shows a complete lack of judgment. Anyone who continues to support Trump for President after he attacked a Gold Star family should be disqualified from holding elected office."
