Issue Position

Small businesses are at the heart of Florida's economy and middle class. Low taxes and reducing the regulatory burden on our economy allows small businesses to be successful and communities to flourish. To accomplish this, Colleen believes that we need to reassess the hurdles that bureaucratic red tape puts in front of companies seeking to do business in Florida and that we need to create an environment that encourages our homegrown entrepreneurs to stay local. Smart, fiscally prudent economic policies with the right mix of tax cuts and incentives are the key to bringing jobs to Florida, and to keeping them here. Colleen will make job creation a driving goal in her next term.
