Issue Position

The pattern of current legislation is to create a massive omnibus bill which is composed of countless smaller bills, but the entire thing is voted on as a whole. I believe that each vote should come up on its own, and only things that are directly related to the bill can be added to it. Politicians will not be able to hide behind a bloated spending bill, and the bills that come up will actually mean something. The best bills will come to the top to be voted on, and the frivolous ones will be left in the shredding bin, no longer wasting the tax payers' money.
