- U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte released the following statement after the Institute for Science and International Security released a report today asserting that a Joint Commission, which includes the United States, has permitted Iran to evade key limits in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on its nuclear program.
"Today's report underscores once again the eagerness of the Obama administration to bend over backwards to accommodate Tehran, conceal information from the American people, and protect a fundamentally flawed and deeply dangerous agreement that is only getting worse. While Iran continues to support terrorism, challenge the United States, and engage in malign activities throughout the region, the Obama administration has enabled Iran to evade limits on their nuclear program," said Senator Ayotte.
She continued, "Rather than concealing information from the American people, the administration should explain why it believes it is in the national security interests of the American people to help the world's worst state sponsor of terrorism dodge limitations on its nuclear program."
