Location: Santa Ana, CA
Issues: Elections

Today, former State Senator Lou Correa officially locked down the endorsement of the California Democratic Party in his campaign to represent California's 46th Congressional District by capturing 94% of the vote.

During this past weekend's Endorsement Caucus, Lou won a lion's share of the vote, securing 30 out of the available 32 delegate votes. The remaining two delegates chose not to endorse.

Upon receiving the news, former State Senator Lou Correa released the following statement:

"I want to thank the grassroots Democrats of the California Democratic Party of Orange County for their official endorsement of my campaign for Congress in the 46th District. It is this kind of support that reinvigorates my campaign and reinforces the reason I decided to run for Congress in the first place: to fight for my community. In Congress, I look forward to being a champion for all Californians and fighting for the creation of middle class jobs, an affordable education for our youth, and investments in our local economies so we can thrive as a nation."
