Issue Position

When I became Mayor of the City of Manton, I quickly realized that municipalities are held under the same governmental strongholds as my business, only on a much grander scale. The legislators in Lansing must stay cognizant of the laws they enact that have negative repercussions on municipalities.

As Mayor, I understand the challenges all counties, cities and villages face when dealing with government, especially as funding for communities gets smaller and smaller. I will give every effort to streamline bills enacted by state government so that communities can better understand and proceed with less complicated forms and unnecessary regulatory strongholds.
