Nevada DREAMer Statement on Congressman Heck Lying to Voters About His Immigration Record

Today, Juan Salazar, a Nevada DREAMer and College of Southern Nevada student, released the following statement on Congressman Heck's misleading comments last night about his record on immigration:
"Congressman Heck voted to deport DREAMers like myself and all the DREAMers in Nevada. It is offensive for him to pretend like these votes didn't happen. Congressman Heck says one thing but his actions in Washington tell a different story. His views are in lockstep with Donald Trump. Congressman Heck campaigns with Sheriff Arpaio, wants to repeal birthright citizenship, and opposes the DREAM Act and immigration reform. He is no friend to the Latino community and families like mine."
