Ayotte Highlights Commitment to Protecting NH's Outdoors at Tin Mountain Conservation Center

On Monday, U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte visited the Tin Mountain Conservation Center in Albany to learn about their work to support New Hampshire's outdoors, and to highlight her work to support conservation efforts in the Senate. During her visit, she toured the Nature Learning Center and the walking trails in the Rockwell Sanctuary.

"I enjoyed visiting the Tin Mountain Conservation Center and learning about their efforts to help educate the public about the importance of preserving and protecting New Hampshire's pristine landscape," said Senator Ayotte. "In the Senate, I have been proud to support the Land and Water Conservation Fund, which has been used to protect thousands of acres in our state. Making sure that future generations have access to the beautiful outdoor spaces our state has to offer is critically important, and I will continue to work across the aisle to achieve that goal."

Ayotte has been a champion for conservation issues in the Senate and has helped lead the fight to permanently reauthorize the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). At the local, state, and federal levels, LWCF provides grants to help conserve our natural resources and protect outdoor recreation opportunities, working forests, and wildlife areas - without using taxpayer dollars.
