Gianforte and Daines Celebrate National Start Up Day, Entrepreneurship with Uberbrew Tour in Billings

After spending nearly twelve years together creating high wage Montana jobs, Bozeman businessman and tech entrepreneur Greg Gianforte and U.S. Senator Steve Daines together celebrated National Start Up Day with a tour of Uberbrew Restaurant and Brewery in Billings.

U.S. SEN. STEVE DAINES: Greg knows what it takes to create high paying jobs in Montana. At RightNow Technologies, Greg and I built a Montana start up that became a global business and that's the kind of leadership we need in Montana's governor.

Uberbrew is a brewery and restaurant in Billings. It was founded in 2012 by two friends, Mark Hastings and Jason Shroyer, who shared a passion for brewing. The brewery has quickly grown into one of Billings' most popular hangouts.

Gianforte is the founder of RightNow Technologies. He started the company out of his house in Bozeman, and created over 500 jobs in Montana. The average Montana salary at RightNow was nearly $90,000 a year. Oracle purchased RightNow in 2012.

Daines worked with Gianforte as an executive at RightNow Technologies for 12 years, and was vital part of the company's success. Harboring a particular passion for entrepreneurship and startups, Greg Gianforte often mentors young business people who strike out and start their own businesses.
