Bozeman businessman and tech entrepreneur Greg Gianforte, looking to build up Montana's economy as governor, nailed down the endorsement of The Montana Building Industry Association.

Gianforte was joined by 4th generation Bozemanite, Bozeman home builder, and MBIA board member Eugen Graf at a construction site near Montana State University on Friday.

Spencer Woith is the 2016 president of the Montana Building Industry Association. He says Gianforte understands the role that housing plays in a healthy and growing economy.

SPENCER WOITH- 2016 MBIA President: "He will put in place the tax policy, and low regulations that our economy needs to grow and provide high-wage jobs for Montanans. He also understands the importance of trades education in helping our young people get jobs in the construction industry. We look forward to working with Greg when he becomes Governor."

EUGEN GRAF (Pronounced Igen)- Bozeman Home Builder/MBIA Board Member: "I've known Greg Gianforte for years. I've known him to be honest, trustworthy and hard-working. He'll bring the same tireless work ethic, and commitment to improving Montana's economy, that he did to a small business that he started at his Bozeman kitchen table, and grew into an international success. We are proud to endorse Greg Gianforte for Governor."

GREG GIANFORTE: "As we created high wage tech jobs in Bozeman, those jobs created more jobs in construction, real estate, restaurants, and retail. As a result, Gallatin County was responsible for 40% of all wage growth in 2014. When you combine the Montana work ethic with good leadership, anything is possible."

Gianforte is the founder of RightNow Technologies. He started the company out of his house in Bozeman, and created over 500 jobs in Montana. The average Montana salary at RightNow was nearly $90,000 a year. Oracle purchased RightNow in 2012, and continues to expand the company's footprint in Montana.

The Montana Building Industry Association joins a distinguished list of organizations and individuals endorsing the Gianforte campaign; including the National Rifle Association, the Montana Chamber of Commerce, Montana Farm Bureau, the Montana Bankers Association, the Montana Shooting Sports Association, the Susan B. Anthony List, the Montana Association of Realtors, several former Montana governors and statewide officials, and others.
