Senator John Hoeven has introduced a new act that would be beneficial to farmers and ranchers.
The Capital for Farmer's and Rancher's Act will increase the maximum loan amount that an individual farmer or rancher is able to receive.
In times of low commodity prices, some producers are concerned current maximum loans aren't enough to operate.
"This legislature that I'm sponsoring with Senator Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. will increase the FSA loan amounts and FSA guarantee amounts with our farmer and ranchers which is really important right now so that they can get access to credit during these challenging times with low commodity prices," says Hoeven.
