Congressman Steve Womack today released the following statement after Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for President named Governor Mike Pence (R-IN) as his choice for Vice President:

"I can think of no better candidate for Vice President than Governor Mike Pence. He is a bonafide conservative with the executive and congressional experience to well round out the Republican ticket. I was proud to serve with Governor Pence in Congress, and I will be proud to serve with him again when he is sworn in as our 48th Vice President."
