Issue Position

Our Constitution is the bedrock upon which our nation is built. The principles it enshrines are what set America apart from the rest of the world. Janice is a firm believer that judges should be originalists in their approach to the Constitution and that they should give words their plan meaning and not read something into the document which simply isn't there. Janice believes that all of our God given liberties protected in our Constitution are important. Among these are the right to keep and bear arms, a codified deterrent to tyranny and crime. Janice believes that the 10th Amendment guarantees states' rights and the sovereignty of the people. That's why Janice opposes all unfunded federal mandates and unconstitutional federal legislation which infringes on the rights of the states.
