In addition to his outstanding conservative record, Brett Geymann is considered a maverick, even within his own party. To call him an outsider would be disingenuous, but his principles have always overridden the status quo. There is a fundamental independence about him that has both excited and exasperated his colleagues on both sides of the aisle. Simply stated, Brett Geymann has the character of a true leader.
