Flags to Remain at Half-Staff to Honor Victims of Baton Rouge Attack

Today, Governor Pete Ricketts, in accordance with a proclamation from President Barack Obama, announced that all U.S. and Nebraska flags are to remain at half-staff in honor of the victims of the attack that took the lives of policemen in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Over the weekend, Governor Ricketts issued the following statement about the attack:

"Susanne and I are deeply saddened by the shootings in Baton Rouge. Nebraskans Support Blue and are praying for the victims' families.

Flags will be flown at half-staff until sunset on July 22, 2016.
