Schumer on Chertoff Reorganization of DHS

The following is a statement from Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on the Department of Homeland Security Secretary's top to bottom review:

"It is great news that one of the least talked about and most important areas of our homeland security will finally get some focus now that Secretary Chertoff is adding a new Assistant Secretary for Cybersecurity. I am hopeful that Sec. Chertoff is able to get the Administration to do more to plug the gaping loopholes in our homeland security and this review is a good step in that direction."
