Ayotte Statement on Baton Rouge Police Shooting

U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte today released the following statement regarding the police shooting in Baton Rouge:

"Joe and I are heartbroken over the murder of three law enforcement officers in Baton Rouge and are praying for their families and loved ones, as well as for those injured.

"Enough is enough. As former attorney general, I know full well the dangers faced by law enforcement each and every day on the job. They encounter the worst of the worst in our society, and I stand fully behind our brave men and women and their families. There is no justification for violence against police and these horrific acts must end immediately."
