Our Constitution reads "We the People," and not "we the few." Yet since the U.S. Supreme Court's Citizens United decision, the voices of voters throughout the country are being drowned out by the wealthy few mega donors. Citizens United allows unlimited and undisclosed campaign contributions from corporations and billionaires. If we don't pass meaningful campaign finance reform, we risk letting the biggest corporations or the wealthiest Americans decide who represents us. That's why I am a fierce advocate of passing a constitutional amendment that would overturn the Citizens United decision. We must give democracy back to the people.
