Adriano is a firm believer that there is no better way to increase opportunity than through a good Education. In Albany, he took legal action to get our city its fair share of funding as a plaintiff in the landmark campaign fiscal equity lawsuit. In 2013, Adriano joined Mayor Bill DeDlasio in support of funding for universal pre-k, which has given over 70k kindergarteners to access to early childhood education.

Adriano Espaillat's education platform is aimed at creating new ladders of opportunity for our youth. From increasing funding to title one schools, so they can extend their school days till 6:00pm, to putting the same focus on building a national technology curriculum as we did on going to the moon. These bold new ideas would change education in this country. Preparing our City's students for the job market they will be entering. Adriano will also fight for an expansion of dual language programs so immigrants from Latin-American, Asian, and African nations can fully participate in class, and to increase the number of bilingual students.
