Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement in response to the FBI's investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server:

"As the FBI Director made crystal clear, Hillary Clinton was "extremely careless' with classified information as our nation's top diplomat and misled the American people. Secretary Clinton's gross negligence jeopardized our national security and she should be held accountable. Today's recommendation is a disservice to the rule of law and Americans who deserve accountability from our federal government."
