Ayotte Visits Jacobs in Nashua and Discusses Company's Support for our Warfighters

This week, U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte visited Jacobs' office in Nashua, which provides advanced technology services to clients in the defense industry. During the visit, Senator Ayotte discussed their development of mission planning software for the KC-46A tanker. The 157th Air Refueling Wing at the Pease Air National Guard Base earned the right to be the first Air National Guard Unit in the nation to receive the KC-46A. Ayotte, working with Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), led successful efforts in Congress to highlight the New Hampshire Air National Guard's performance and advocate for Pease to receive the KC-46A.

"I was very pleased to have the opportunity to visit Jacobs' Nashua office and learned about their work to develop mission planning software for the KC-46A and other aircraft. The individuals at Jacobs continue to develop cutting-edge software that is critical for those who defend our country," said Ayotte.

As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Senator Ayotte advocates in a bipartisan and effective manner for American national security and those in New Hampshire who help defend our country.

During the visit, Senator Ayotte also discussed her opposition to automatic, across the board cuts to defense spending, known as sequestration.
