Today, following a directive from Governor Rick Scott, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has launched a toll-free Bloom Reporting Hotline and established an online reporting form for residents to report algal blooms.

Residents will now be able to call in reports to a new toll-free number at 1-855-305-3903, as well as report information online through an electronic form at www.reportalgalbloom.com. Reported information will be relayed to DEP, the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
