Issue Position

Morgan is a supporter of your right to own and carry a firearm. He has consistently received "A" ratings from the National Rifle Association. In the House of Delegates, he led the effort to repeal many of the restrictions that Virginia imposed on law-abiding gun owners. In Congress, he opposed the U.N. Arms Control Treaty because it undermines the Second Amendment. Morgan has consistently voted to strengthen the 2nd Amendment.

Morgan is a firm defender of your freedom and opposes government efforts to limit your privacy and collect information about all your communications. He opposes illegal data collection and monitoring and voted to end blanket data collection practices by the NSA.

Morgan believes the U.S. military complex should not be able to exercise the power of detention on United States soil against United States citizens without due process.
