Senator Adriano Espaillat Bested His Opponents in a Televised Debate

Last night, Senator Adriano Espaillat bested his opponents in a televised debate, which aired on NY1. As he has done throughout the campaign, Adriano spoke about the issues that are affecting the families of the 13th congressional District. Discussing his plans for: a child care tax credit to help working and middle class parents; to create gentrification mitigation zones to protect communities; and for new restrictions on guns to prevent senseless acts of violence.

Once again Senator Espaillat brought the issues to center stage, and the crowd responded with thunderous applause.
"This race is about the ideas that will bring our communities together," said Adriano Espaillat, after the debate. "We must fight back against gentrification, give our middle and working class families a leg up, and fight the scourge of gun violence."
Adriano once again distinguished himself in the race as candidate most focused on proposing specific plans to address the biggest issues. No other campaign in the race has put forward specific policy papers to address the toughest challenges impacting residents in the 13th District. Adriano has put out a plan to fight gentrification, a plan to increase access to childcare, and a plan to combat gun violence.
