Fischer Welcomes Nebraska Vietnam Vets to National Mall

This morning, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) welcomed more than 500 Vietnam veterans from Nebraska to Washington, D.C. Fischer visited with the veterans at the Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. She also attended a ceremony honoring their service on the National Mall.
Senator Fischer released the following statement:
"I was honored to welcome Nebraska's Vietnam veterans to our nation's capital today. These heroes shared their stories and their determination to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Our nation is forever grateful for their service."
