House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today in response to an attack earlier today in Tel Aviv, Israel:

"Today's attack in Tel Aviv is yet another reminder of the dangers Israelis face every day from those bent on denying their right to live in peace in their ancient homeland. I will continue to stand up for Israel's right to defend itself against terror and to pursue a secure future. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families."
