Catherine Cortez Masto for Senate spokesperson Zach Hudson released the following statement on Congressman Heck's ridiculous spin on the Supreme Court siding with his and House Republicans' anti-immigrant lawsuit to tear families apart:

"While it's nice Congressman Heck took a break from promoting debunked right-wing conspiracy theories about Sharia Law coming to the United States, his spin on his lawsuit to tear immigrant families apart is typical Washington doublespeak and revisionist history. If Congressman Heck actually believes "immigration reform should be enacted through the legislative process,' then why did he oppose the bipartisan immigration reform bill that overwhelmingly passed the Senate? The truth is: Congressman Heck opposed the bipartisan immigration reform compromise, voted to defund DACA, signed on to this lawsuit to tear families apart, and thinks Donald Trump should be our next President. Enough said."
