Congressman Kevin Cramer released the following statement following today's news that the Grand Forks Air Force Base is on the U.S. Air Force's short list to be the home for the new KC-46 tanker:
"I'm pleased to see the Air Force has included the Grand Forks Air Force Base as a contender in its latest basing decision for the new KC-46 tanker. We've been supporting this tanker modernization throughout the process and continue to advocate Grand Forks as a prime location and community for these planes to call home. We have the experience and infrastructure ready to welcome this mission."
