Issue Position

Vermont must create a regulatory and fiscal environment that encourages good jobs to stay in Vermont, and that attracts not only new employers, but entire industries. A sample of Randy's job-creating ideas include Vermont-domiciled Baby Boomer wealth transfer financial models, "flag of convenience" licensing and registration for interstate commerce, developing a framework to incentivize state agencies to shift more Information Technology work to instate companies, and developing a "Southern Strategy" to bring new jobs to the economically-suffering southern counties.
