Cortez Masto Campaign Statement on Congressman Heck's Election Year Bill Introduction Today

Statement

Catherine Cortez Masto for Senate Communications Director Zach Hudson released the following statement on Congressman Heck's election year bill introduction today:

"Maybe the reason there were so many empty chairs at Congressman Heck's press conference today was because Nevada seniors know Congressman Heck has spent half a decade in Washington voting to raise their living expenses. For a politician who wants to privatize Social Security, called it a "pyramid scheme,' and voted to turn Medicare into a voucher to suddenly pretend he cares about seniors' living expenses is a blatant attempt to paper over his anti-seniors voting record. Unlike Congressman Heck, Catherine Cortez Masto has a proven record of protecting Nevada seniors. And unlike Congressman Heck, she will continue to do so in the Senate and focus on solving problems, not increasing insurance premiums for Nevada seniors."
