Former Nevada Attorney General and candidate for U.S. Senate Catherine Cortez Masto released the following statement on reports that the Administration will be conducting more large scale raids on immigrant mothers and children:
"I am deeply concerned about reports of more large scale raids focused on undocumented mothers and children from Central America. Busting down doors in the middle of night to deport mothers and children is not how we fix our broken immigration system. We need real immigration reform in this country that secures our borders and provides a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, not large scale raids that inspire fear and tear families apart."
