Former Nevada Attorney General and candidate for U.S. Senate Catherine Cortez Masto released the following statement on the Obama Administration's new program to help reunite families of Filipino World War II veterans:

"Today's announcement is welcome news to thousands of Filipino families across the country and in Nevada. This program will help Filipino veterans who bravely served our country during World War II reunite with their loves ones. As Nevada's next Senator, I will work with both Parties to solve problems like helping Filipino veterans reunite with their families and ensuring they receive the benefits they earned but too often have been denied."
