Catherine Cortez Masto Launches "AAPI for Cortez Masto"

This weekend, former Nevada Attorney General and current U.S. Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto met with members of the Las Vegas Asian American & Pacific Islanders (AAPI) community to discuss this year's election, and launch the grassroots coalition "AAPI for Cortez Masto."

"Nevada's Asian American and Pacific Islander community is the fastest growing of any state in the nation and is a vital component of our economy," said Cortez Masto. "It is critical we have policies that ensure the AAPI community can continue to thrive in our state and country. Unfortunately, my opponent, Congressman Heck, has spent half a decade in Congress siding with his Party's leaders against the AAPI community. Congressman Heck opposes comprehensive immigration reform, supports devastating cuts to education, and even wants to repeal birthright citizenship. I am grateful to have the support of the AAPI community and am looking forward to working together to win in November so we can get to work solving problems in the Senate."
