Nevada Law Enforcement Endorses Catherine Cortez Masto for Senate

Today, the Catherine Cortez Masto campaign announced the endorsement of organizations representing law enforcement officers from across Nevada. The Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers (NAPSO), the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the Peace Officers Research of Nevada (PORAN), and the Southern Nevada Conference of Police and Sheriffs (SNCOPS) all endorsed Cortez Masto's campaign for United States Senate. SNCOPS consists of: the Henderson Police Supervisors Association (HPSA), the Las Vegas Peace Officers Association (LVPOA), the Las Vegas Police Protective Association (LVPPA), and the Las Vegas Police Managers and Supervisors Association (LVPMSA). This is the first time in Nevada history the organizations came together with one unanimous endorsement.

"I am honored to have the endorsement of these organizations from across our state who represent the law enforcement officers on the front lines every day to keep our communities safe," said Cortez Masto. "As Nevada's Attorney General, I worked with law enforcement to protect Nevadans from predators, and I'm proud to have their support in my campaign for Senate. I'm running for Senate to solve problems like putting more cops on the street and continuing our efforts to end human trafficking. In the Senate I will work with law enforcement to ensure they have the resources they need to keep Nevadans safe."

"Catherine has a proven record of working with both parties and law enforcement to solve problems like cracking down on meth labs and combatting human trafficking.
