Former Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto released the following statement on Donald Trump's comments about Muslims yesterday:
"We should be talking about banning people on terrorist no-fly lists from purchasing guns, not banning an entire religion from entering the United States. Discriminating against the entire religion of Islam is un-American. Donald Trump's comments will only further inflame tensions and serve as a recruiting tool for terrorist organizations like ISIS. It's time for the Donald Trump sideshow to end; every leader in both political parties should be denouncing him and his irresponsible, reckless, and discriminatory proposal."
