It's not pleasant to think about, but increasingly in modern society we must worry about the 'active shooter' . Whether in businesses, public places, or school campuses, the threat is real and growing. That is why I voted to support HB859, also known as the Campus Carry legislation, which allows Georgians to carry license to take their firearm onto certain parts of a public college campus. By restoring this Constitutional Right, students, faculty and staff can defend themselves or another from an active shooter or attacker.
