One issue of particular importance to me is ending the litany of special interest tax breaks. There is a need for tax policies that create jobs, but these special interest tax breaks have spiraled out of control. The most recent example is a sales tax break specifically for Super Bowl tickets. This benefits only the NFL and the elite group who can afford to attend the Super Bowl. I opposed HB937 for that reason.
