Another Public Safety Org Throws Weight Behind Correa's Congressional Bid

Solidifying more public safety support in his campaign for California's 46th Congressional District seat, today former State Senator Lou Correa collected an endorsement from the Garden Grove Firefighters.
In announcing their support, Steve Fellner of the Garden Grove Firefighters, stated, "Garden Grove Firefighters are proud to endorse Lou Correa in his bid for Congress."
Upon learning of the endorsement, former State Senator Lou Correa released the following statement:
"Having the support of the Garden Grove Firefighters means a lot to me. It serves as further evidence of my strong record on public safety issues. I am sincerely grateful for the Garden Grove Firefighters' endorsement and look forward to collaborating with them in my campaign and if given the privilege of serving in Congress."

This news follows a poll showing Correa with an enormous lead, nearly 30-points ahead of his closest competitor.
The poll, conducted by Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin, Metz & Associates, is relatively fresh out of the field, and was conducted from December 13th through December 16th. The initial results show Correa with a decisive lead over all other candidates:

After messaging, Correa's support grows to 43%, while the other candidates' totals remain nearly unchanged. The memo showed Correa with a net favorability rating more than double that of any other candidate in the race.
