BREAKING: New Poll Finds Ross in Dead Heat with Incumbent Senator Burr

A new survey released today by Public Policy Polling (PPP) finds the U.S. Senate Race between Deborah Ross and incumbent Richard Burr statistically tied, with Burr up just 3 points, 39% to 36%. The poll found that Burr continues to be deeply unpopular with voters, "with only 28% of voters approving of the job he's doing to 40% who disapprove."

"As voters learn about Richard Burr's record, they realize he represents what's wrong with Washington and are ready for a change. He introduced a plan to privatize Medicare, voted to raise taxes on working people, and supported tax giveaways for companies that ship jobs overseas, all while raking in millions for his campaign coffers from special interests. And now, he's changing his position on HB2 not because he thinks it's hurting working people in North Carolina, but because it's putting his reelection at risk. Voters are ready for a different kind of leader --for someone like Deborah Ross who people can trust and puts the folks she represents first."
