Failing roads and bridges are more than a drag on our economy; it's personal in Minnesota. By kicking the can down the road on infrastructure investment we're not only jeopardizing economic security, we're jeopardizing the health and safety of our families and missing an opportunity to grow our economy and put thousands of Minnesotans to work.

Unlike our current leadership in Congress, I'll fight to increase investment in infrastructure -- not just the roads and bridges that help our rural economy and get manufacturing products to market, but also increasing access to broadband to make Minnesota even more attractive for business expansion. Better roads and faster Internet isn't just good policy, it's common sense.
