Governor Maggie Hassan issued the following statement on the passing of Representative Marcia Moody:
"Throughout her six terms as a state legislator, Representative Marcia Moody demonstrated an unyielding commitment to serving her fellow Granite Staters, exemplifying the spirit of our citizen-led democracy in New Hampshire. Fighting for fairness and equality for all, Marcia Moody helped build on our state's strong history of inclusion. Tom and I join Marcia's family and loved ones, the Newmarket community, her fellow legislators and citizens across the state in mourning her loss."
