Gov. Hickenlooper Announces Appointment to the 17th Judicial District

Gov. John Hickenlooper today appointed Jaclyn Casey Brown as district court judge in the 17th Judicial District (Adams and Broomfield). Brown will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable C. Scott Crabtree.

Brown is currently a partner at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP, and was an associate with the firm from 2005 to 2012. Brown's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, appeals, real estate, land use, and construction matters.

Brown earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 2002, and her Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2005.

The appointment is effective July 1, 2016.
