In Jefferson City, the politicians have delivered failure, embarrassment and gridlock, trading favors with special interests rather than standing up for our liberties.
The current Attorney General, a Democrat, has been criticized by the state Auditor for awarding millions of dollars to trial attorneys via contingent-fee arrangements. He was further chastised for failing to record what the fees purchased. Under my administration, plaintiffs' firms will not get rich on taxpayer money providing legal services that the Attorney General's Office exists to perform.
I'm not a politician. I've never run for office before. I'm a constitutional attorney. Standing up for our values and our liberties is my job. I know well the threats to our freedom -- I've been on the front lines of the battle for our Constitution for years now.
So stand with me against corruption in Jefferson City and the reign of special interests.
