Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet issued the following statement on the attacks in Brussels:

"These attacks are terrible, senseless, and cowardly acts, and our thoughts go out to the people of Brussels. We will continue to monitor the situation, and we stand by in support of Belgian and U.S. law enforcement officials as they pursue the attackers and bring them to justice. Now is a time to pull together to stop these horrific acts and not to resort to politics."
