Senator Jim Banks, conservative candidate for Indiana's Third Congressional District, released the following statement regarding President Obama's plan to expand gun control.

"Obama's decision to expand gun control via executive order is another example of a President out of touch with the American people. Determined to implement his liberal agenda, President Obama is unconstitutionally sidestepping Congress and creating far-reaching laws with the stroke of a pen. In Congress, I will continue to be a strong voice for the Second Amendment and fight for the rights of law-abiding gun-owners everywhere."

The strongest advocate for gun rights in the race for Indiana's 3rd district, Banks has an unparalleled record of leadership on Second Amendment rights. In recognition of his record, Senator Banks has earned the endorsement of the National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) PAC. With more than 3.5 million grassroots activists, it is the fastest growing gun rights organization in America.
