Senator Jim Banks, conservative candidate for Indiana's Third Congressional District, released the following statement regarding President Obama's plan to expand gun control.

"Obama's decision to expand gun control via executive order is another example of a President out of touch with the American people. Determined to implement his liberal agenda, President Obama is unconstitutionally sidestepping Congress and creating far-reaching laws with the stroke of a pen. In Congress, I will continue to be a strong voice for the Second Amendment and fight for the rights of law-abiding gun-owners everywhere."
