Congresswoman Chellie Pingree issued the following statement on the terrorist attacks in Brussels:

My thoughts are with the people of Europe in the wake of another brutal terrorist attack. The American people must stand with our friends and allies at times like this. We will remain strong in fighting terrorism and at the same time not let these cowardly attacks blind us with fear or cause us to forget our core values.
