Issue Position

My first job after graduate school was working for an environmental consulting firm. Preserving our environment is a top priority for me, which is why I was out front in advocating for the Basin and Range National Monument and pleased with Senator Reid's work to make that happen. As your Congresswoman, I will work to move towards energy independence and cleaner sources of energy, while promoting a comprehensive plan that keeps energy affordable for our middle-class families.

With a severe water drought in the West, our congressional delegation needs to be at the table to negotiate regional water usage, and ensure that Nevada is getting its fair share and using it wisely.
