Statement From Congressman Lee Zeldin Following Paris Terror Attacks

Statement

Date: Nov. 13, 2015
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, C--NY-1), member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released the following statement in response to the terror attacks tonight in Paris:

"Tonight, my thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the people of France in the aftermath of the horrific terror attacks that shocked the world this evening in Paris.

This tragic attack is not just an attack on France; but an attack on all free nations across the world. Together, as a united nation, we join with our allies across the world to condemn the brutal and savage tactics of extremist groups that oppose the basic freedoms and liberties of the free world.

This devastating attack is just one of many examples of why we need a stronger, more consistent foreign policy and terror-fighting policy; and serves as a reminder that as a global community we must always remain ever vigilant."
