Fleming Reacts to North Korean Missile Launch

Statement

Congressman John Fleming, M.D. released the following statement after learning that North Korea launched a missile into space:

"This launch is just the latest reminder of growing threats around the world to our security, which unfortunately the President continues to turn a blind eye to. We need to show North Korea, as well as ISIS, Russia and Iran, that we will not cower when threatened. Last week the House passed stronger sanctions against North Korea, specifically targeting companies that contribute to North Korea's nuclear program and missile development. However, we also need to ensure our military has the resources needed to deter and challenge aggressor and rogue nations."
