Congressman Randy Weber (TX-14) released the following statement in response to the President's plan for executive action on gun control:

"The President's excessive use of executive action completely disregards Congress and the Constitution. It's ignorant to think that ramping up gun control will exclusively prevent bad people from doing bad things. It's wrong for the President to go after the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens for political brownie points with his party."
